Menominee Township News

There are a few copies of the Menominee Township DRAFT Master Plan at the Township Hall. Please call 863-9410 on Wednesday afternoon if you would like to come in to look at it. There is a copy at Spies Library in Menominee and at the Menominee County Library in Stephenson available to look at. You may also view the Master Plan DRAFT on the CUPPAD website at http://www.cuppad.org/CurrentProjects.html. There is a letter from CUPPAD in the Planning Commission minutes dated 11-18-11.

We will have FEMA flood plain maps available at the township hall for viewing. Call (906-863-9410) for the best time to see them and to make sure your area map is in (we are waiting for one more map). The assessor has access to those maps on Mondays and Tuesdays at the hall from 4pm to 7pm and has handled this issue in previous years so is probably the best person to see. Public participation is needed.

The next regular Menominee Township Board Meeting will be February 22, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.

The next regular Planning Commission Meeting will be February 21, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Menominee Township Hall.

The public is encouraged to attend all township meetings.
