Wayside

This is a seasonal Roadside or Wayside for Menominee Twp.  It is a rest area located on US-41 just south of #7 road. It has a pavilion,  some grills,  a swing set and seasonal porta-john. There is water,  but its not drinkable.  There is a "Peshtigo Fire" memorial marker located at the northern end of the wayside and a kiosk with interesting facts about that fire.

Menominee Township Park

This park is a seasonal park located on property behind the Menominee Township Hall,  with the entrance just south of the front of the hall.  The entrance leads to a one-way loop around the Birch Creek Baseball Field of Dreams.  The infield consists of a dirt ball field that is about 60% sand; 35% of clay and 5 % silt, incomplete by design, desired by the Menominee County Women's Softball league.  Home to fence only about 230 feet which is adequate for the women & little leagues. Future 2019/20 plans include building a pavilion to the east of the ball field.

There are several parks located in Menominee County; however, only a few within our township.
